This project was a lot of fun as we (Goodbye Robot) only had a couple of days to turn it around and had to quickly come up with an approach that not only matched the vibe of the already produced cover art, but also allowed for some direction and input from the artist. We decided to lean into VR creation tools (Quill in this case) to sculpt all of the assets as it was a really quick way to create stylized 3D assets which we could build the animation around.
